My name is Amy, and I’m the proprietress of Amy + Fire. I’m currently twenty years old, attending a school in upstate New York, and gunning for an English degree with a Fine Arts minor. When I’m not in the kitchen (which isn’t all that often, to be honest), I’m singing in an acapella group, painting, writing for the school paper, or volunteering on a local farm.
I’m half Asian (my stunning mother is half Taiwanese and half Chinese), and half European (Dad sweeps England and Germany), so my comfort foods are a mix of stir-fries and hearty meat and potatoes dishes. But hey, I don’t discriminate. I like all cuisines and experiment frequently, sometimes with rather disastrous results.
